Cittadella Ospitalita is located in central Assisi and offers views of the surrounding area from its hillside location. While its exterior is traditional with stone walls and terraces, its interior is simple and clean. Large common rooms and conference facilities make this venue ideal for study and religious groups.

This venue is within walking distance of the World Heritage listed Basilica di San Francesco d'Assisi (Saint Francis) as well as other attractions in Assisi's historic center. The Saint Francis Basilica was built after his canonization in 1228, and completed in 1253. The lower church hosts frescoes by renowned late-medieval artists Cimabue and Giotto. In the upper church there are frescoes of scenes in the life of Saint Francis previously ascribed to Giotto and now thought to be by artists of the circle of Pietro Cavallini of Rome. The Basilica was restored after being badly damaged in 1997 when an earthquake hit the town.

This monastery is operated by the Pro Civitate Christiana.

This expansive, multi-level building is suited to cater for large groups of travellers, with many rooms they also welcome smaller bookings. Its location on the side of the Assisi hill gives guests panoramic views of the Santa Maria degli Angeli Cathedral as well as the surrounding Umbrian countryside. Terraces around the venue add to its medieval feel and stone facade.

Breakfast is included in the price. Other meals are available (additional) and bookings can be arranged with reception.
