Well located in an area just north of the historic center. An ideal base for exploring the sights of central Florence, including the Galleria dell'Accademia and Florence's famous duomo.

We had a very enjoyable stay. As Sister Conchita spoke French we had no communication problems. Both Sisters were very friendly and kind, we will visit again.

History

Built in the 19th century, the building was originally known as Villino Ortigia.

The villa was renovated in 2008 to add modern facilities while maintaining period features.

	Sisters were delightful and very helpful in resolving an issue related to lost baggage. Beautiful facilities. Rooms were very comfortable and included a small fridge.

	The two nuns who ran the accommodation were extremely helpful and pleasant, despite a language barrier. Our room was spacious and beautiful, but we did find it a little noisy at night because our room was on the corner, so one of the windows faced a railway and road flyover. The breakfasts were very limited and rather disappointing, compared to all the other places we stayed at in Italy.
