This venue is a contrast of a medieval exterior mixed with an ultra modern interior. The town of Cittá della Pieve is not short of great attractions with its long Etruscan past. For those visitors with private transport, this is also a great base for traveling through the rest of Umbria and Tuscany.Cittá della Pieve is a town full of history. Etruscan tombs have been found underneath its grounds and it is also the birthplace of famous Italian painters Pietro Perugino and Niccolò Circignani. Many of their works are still housed in throughout the town in its 32 different churches, palaces and galleries. Lake Tresamino and Lake Bolsena are nearby but those visitors with a car will also discover easy access to Arezzo, Florence and Rome.
