A beautiful, 17th century building that maintains its history while also providing modern facilities.

Located close to the river and the historic center of Florence. City with easy access. Bus and train stops for surrounding locations.
The guest house is located in a palazzo constructed in the mid 1600's as a residence for the noble Florentine family Del Rosso. Passing through many noted Florentine families, in 1922, the palazzo became the seat of the Waldensian Faculty of Theology evolving to the current work in supporting various social service programs for children, the elderly, and people in need.

Istituto Gould is an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. It is spotlessly clean and the my room was perfect. The man at reception was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We were so thankful to have found this place last minute! The air condition and fan worked amazingly. Only complaint is that we had some trouble connecting to the wifi in our room, but it worked very well in the main areas. The lady at the front desk was also kind enough to make a call in Italian for us when a laundromat coin machine ate our money! We would definitely stay here again should we return to Florence. Well done!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Firenze (TOF127). The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the accommodations were very good and we found a new neighborhood to like in Firenze!

Elisa, our hostess, was very kind and helpful. Thanks!
The space is large and would be great for families. We were comfortable sleeping at night with the patio doors open and the fan running.

Shame that the garden area wasn't able to be accessed.

Located out of main tourist area, which was nice, but still very close to anything you might want to see. Although my room was up three flights of steps, guests are not allowed to use the elevator, even with suitcases, unless they are handicapped. Blinking safety light all night in room was very annoying. Guests are not allowed in the garden. Free wi-fi was great.

The place I stayed was a bit away from the city center but was within walking distance of most major attractions in Florence. The room was clean and the breakfast was sufficient. The room I had on the street side of the building was a bit noisy. Also, the bedrooms are on the first floor of the building, and there is no elevator.

It was clean and comfortable, and the price was good. And the manager, Andrea, was very helpful. The office was closed when we arrived. We feel that it closes too early for clients who might arrive after 7:30 PM.

The service when booking in was good and helpful. The rooms and linen were spotless. We were disappointed with the breakfast available.
