A fantastic location in the heart of San Giovanni Rotondo. Within walking distance are some of Europe's most important pilgrimage sites and fascinating historic buildings from centuries gone by.

San Giovanni Rotondo is set on the edge of the Gargano National Park on the crest of Monte Castellano and offers a beautiful range of views and attractions. The famous Padre Pio pilgrimage site is the most notable attraction in the town as well as the Sanctuary of Saint Michael the Archangel. There are numerous other towers, palaces and churches within the town, some of which date back to the 6th century.

I couldn't be pleased with it more, the sister was very helpful and nice, gave us more than we expected, and even gave us a tip for travelling back to Foggia and Rome, she even gave us extra time in the room before we left. and a bottle of water for our trip. On the night that we arrived, we had trouble finding the place, when we got to the monastery, we arrived late and she answered the the intercom and got changed to meet us at the door. very tranquil and peaceful. we would definitely stay there again.

	Pleasant staff and surroundings. Limited ability to converse in English. Reasonable internet access. Location was excellent. San Giovanni Rotondo is a beautiful city and in a beautiful area.

	The nuns were so caring towards us. Although the language of our tongues were different the language of our hearts were the same! Everyday we spoke like that to each other and it made for a truly blessed time there! At the end of our stay it was like leaving a lifelong friend and it had only been 6 days. When leaving we received the sign of the cross on our foreheads and a kiss there too! What a lovely gesture to send us on our way!
