This convent is operated by the Suore Di San Filippo Neri.

The lovely convent is beautifully presented, with attention to detail in all corners of the building. Rooms have large windows which face out onto the lane below.

Mass is held Monday-Saturday in the chapel at 6:30am.

Breakfast is included in the price.

Features

The gorgeous artwork extends inside and out, from the stone carvings and typical Rome architecture on the external parts of the lodging, to the paintings and the stone art in some rooms.

The historic center of Rome. City with easy access. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is nearby.

Recently renovated in 2008, the rooms offer a simple yet relaxing stay, away from all the hustle and bustle one would expect in Rome.

	The guest house is around 20 minutes walk from the metro. This might be significant for older travelers. Pleasant stay in a good area with bars/restaurants and a close by mini market. The nuns are welcoming and helpful.

	My husband and I had a great stay with the Suore Di san Filippo Neri. The location is quite central - about a 15 minute walk from a Metro stop, 25 min walk to the Vatican. The rooms were kept very clean, and were comfortable and very easy to get rest in. (Continental style) breakfast is given every morning from 6:30-9:30am, which includes excellent coffee. The sisters were very hospitable and helpful. We would certainly come back to stay here the next time in Rome!

	The Sisters were very welcoming and friendly. There was surprising noise from some fellow residents on the stairs coming home but that is to do with them and not the Sisters. The breakfast was good, including fruit juice which was a bonus. The area is good with a couple of bars and restaurants nearby as well as some shops.
