Great place! The sisters are wonderful! We loved it!
Alfonso - CA, USA (September 2018)
The sisters were wonderful! So happy and welcoming. We walked everywhere, but some may find the distance a bit far (it was about a mile to the Vatican). There is a bus stop about 2 blocks away, but the metro station was a bit tricker to find. Use the GPS coordinates to find the place, as it is tucked behind a gate and not obvious from the street. Very comfortable, albeit basic, accommodations and breakfasts.
Mary - AR, United States (September 2017)
It is not convenient to the metro system. It is pretty good for buses and reasonably close to St. Peter's train station.
Catherine - PA, United States (June 2017)
Easy walking distance to St Peters, though a bit of a hike yo the metro, buses and trams. My room was very clean, very functional with a comfortable bed, desk and ensuite. Breakfast was simple but more than adequate, and the sisters were extremely helpful and kind.
Averil - QLD, Australia (May 2017)
Wonderful! The place is very accessible to Vatican City. The nuns are very nice, kind and helpful, specially Sister Jyothie! Highly recommendable place of stay.
Mateo - METRO MANILA, Philippines (October 2016)
We loved the facilities, the rooms were updated, clean, quiet; and the sisters who run the guest house are so sweet and helpful. The breakfast was varied and fresh. The sisters were very helpful with our tourist questions, and would order taxis, pizza, etc. for us. It was a 20 minute walk to Vatican City. We highly recommend Figlie della Presentazione di Maria SS. al Tempio.

Excellent location. Well connected by bus and the metro is 10 minutes away. Good breakfast and extremely friendly sisters who ensured that out stay was lovely. Very clean rooms as well. Definitely highly recommend this place.
Esther - Karnataka, India (June 2014)
Good value, clean and safe place to stay whilst in Rome for a long weekend. Room basic, but was all I needed when travelling on a shoestring. 15 minutes walk to edge of St Peter's Square. Some of the sisters spoke English which helped, although when they weren't around, we relied on sign language and Google Translate to varying degrees of success! Would stay here again if I ever return back to Rome in the future.
Victoria - , United Kingdom (October 2013)
It is a quiet and basic accommodation. No frills at all. Sisters were very kind and helpful. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Rome within walking distance to Vatican City this works. Very quiet, secure and clean. Very basic.

Paul - Ontario, Canada (September 2012)
We were very pleasantly surprised with the rooms and the amount of storage space, etc. Whilst there was no TV in the room nor facilities in the room for making drinks these were available in a communal lounge where there was also a computer available for free internet access. Secure parking available on site. The Sisters were absolutely lovely. I will not hesitate to recommend it to my friends
Damien - Lancs, United Kingdom (May 2012)
My welcome was warm, my room was spotless and very quiet. The breakfast and coffee were a great way to start my day. My last day I had to leave early and the sisters made sure I had breakfast before I left. I would definitely recommend LAR164 to anyone.

The nuns provided wonderful service during our stay. The breakfast was great, and they were very accomodating to our late return (after curfew) following the Easter Vigil mass.
Jay - IN, United States (April 2012)
It would have been nice to be able to use an iron and ironing board. I was unable to iron any shirts and had to go around looking quite crumpled!
Harry - Victoria, Australia (March 2012)
Even better than I expected. Spacious and very clean room, in a quiet neighborhood, with just a quick walk to St Peter's. Amazing value for the price. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for any friends/family in the future on trips to Rome.
Katherine - IL, United States (October 2011)

Peninah - London, United Kingdom (May 2011)
I would do this again. The location was ideal. Walking distance to the Vatican and very close to an number of good restaurants. The sisters were wonderful. I need to study Italian because communication was a bit rough but we managed.
Lee - OH, United States (May 2011)
Very friendly. Very accommodating. Website stated internet access. Had very weak connection.
Dwayne - NV, United States (October 2010)
Friendly and helpful nuns. Daily Mass. A very clean and comfortable room with a large bathroom and good water pressure. The room was modern and the beds were comfortable. It was not at all like I would expect in a convent. It was more like a nice hotel room without room service or the AC. The building was also secure. I felt like the nuns actually cared about us as people and treated us like guests.
Sylvia - CA, United States (June 2009)
Courteous nuns and very good standards; also daily Mass. Very little was not good - from time to time difficult to rouse anyone to come to reception.
David - Derbyshire, United Kingdom (June 2009)
I was afraid that the place might be old, however it was very modern and clean. I enjoyed the peace and solitude. The staff was very helpful and hospitable. The facilities were clean and comfortable.
Sandra - LA, United States (March 2008)
Clean, quiet and friendly. The sisters were very helpful and kind. Beats a 5 star hotel from my point of view.
Robert - NC, United States (March 2008)
The convent was run by very attentive and professional nuns. Clean, safe, convenient, quiet, and very pleasant. Needs WiFi internet and more chairs, a telephone, and a refrigerator would be nice. You could charge more for these amenities.
