The clergy and staff associated with Suore Francescane della Croce del Libano (LAR 176) were truly outstanding in a most memorable way. I was really not looking for simply accommodations when I registered here, I was hoping to experience something much about Roman culture. These are not just accommodations but opportunities to learn about the spirit, passion and compassion of a truly great city, an international history, and a church that had (and has) an impact on a global level. Of course, I did all I could to travel to various sites and learn as much as I could, but I felt that I would be remiss, if I had not immersed myself into the world of our Roman contemporaries. I was not disappointed! I would highly recommend this convent, and the opportunity that it affords to enjoy Rome, as well as its people.

Overall, a good experience: quiet clean good breakfast etc.
My wife thought the bed was too firm but I thought it was fine. The flourescent light in the room was a bit stark and there was no bedside light.
Perhaps the biggest drawback was that thre was no place for us to make a hot cup of tea/coffee/chocolate in the evening (or during the day). That would have been nice.

Very nice room, simple but adequate, perfect locations. Right in the heart of Trastevere, close to local destinations and economically priced. Bathroom was "snug" and shower enclosure was very narrow. Large visitors would have difficulty.
No english spoken here, which is fine if you speak Italian.
