Rated 4 out of 5
The nuns and the Dining Hall Manager were all very helpful and accommodating. The maintenance staff who gave me instructions about how to get to the closest grocery store were also patient with a non-Italian speaking visitor like me.
This convent is operated by the Suore Catechiste di Sant'Anna.
The venue is located in a nice area of Rome, with a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast is included in the price. There is a lovely in house dining room, indicate on booking if you wish to book for dinner.

I have to travel to Rome several times a year from the U.S. and this is my favorite place to stay. The location is in a residential neighborhood and is quiet. There is a grocery store a block away which is convenient. There is a small refrigerator next to the office where you can store some snacks if needed. Some rooms have showers and others have bathtubs. Sr Maria speaks English which is great. They have 2 espresso machines which I definitely enjoy since some places I’ve stayed don’t have any. I cannot eat gluten so they have always been happy to accommodate that with various GF breakfast breads. They have a quiet chapel with a Tabernacle and Our Lady of Guadalupe is a 10-15 minute walk away for daily/Sunday Mass. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk and you can take the 247 straight into Vatican City. I really appreciate that they do NOT have a curfew. You get a passcode to the gate for each day so if a bus is running late or you cannot get a taxi on a busy night, you can still get in. I have stayed at other places with a 10pm curfew and it is difficult getting back in time some nights. There is also a night guard who can assist you if you need anything. He’s always very helpful. The facility itself isn’t the most modern/fancy… but I haven’t found anywhere in Rome that is. The surrounding neighborhood is a neighborhood so you get all the things that come with that in Rome. You get the school children going to school on school days and people at the bus stop. It’s normal city life. If you want a fancy hotel feel then you will want to go East of Vatican City. I prefer the authentic experience with these sisters. Also, you can pay with a credit card. Some places require cash which I don’t like to have much of when traveling.

The staff were very kind. It was easy to take bus 246 or 247 to Cornelia and then take the metro anywhere in town.

It was a 5 minute walk from the bus line. The check-in was easy and there was a lovely terrace. The convent is out of the noise & traffic of central Rome so it's peaceful. But, the public transit was close so it was easy to get to any of the major attractions. I will definitely stay there again.
