Idyllic location that is perfect for sight seeing in both Scandicci, Chianti and Florence. Perfect for those who want to experience the city during the day but relax in the Tuscan countryside at night.

The main attraction in Scandicci is a beautiful villa dedicated to the famous Renaissance painter, Michelangelo. From Scandicci, travelers also have access to the famous Chianti wine region. Florence is a short car trip away with a myriad of attractions including the Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio.

The rooms were clean and tidy. We arrived very late on the first night as we got lost. Even with little English spoken by the Villa staff they were very happy to assist with our needs.

Spectacular views of the countryside from its hilltop location and surrounded by a park and olive trees, typical of the region. The building itself is modern and bright with an inviting environment for guests.

No Mass is held. Guests can access chapel at all times for private prayer.

	We loved the site tremendously. Only problems we had were: 1. the stability and accessabily of the Wi-Fi. 2. Language barrier to explain myself with respect to Wi-Fi or other small issues that arose. 3. Could not clear understanding of whether to inform of absence or presence for meals (This was clarified by a sign posted on the door to let them know by 12:00 that day ... however this was only posted in Italian) Otherwise ... the stay was terrific, and Andrea did try to accomodate me as best he could with the language barrier and all. I WOULD DEFINITELY recommend the Villa .. gorgeous grounds the interior, excellent value and taste for the meals.
