This convent is operated by the Piccole Ancelle di Cristo.

The rooms are well designed, comfortable and spacious, and lovely artwork adorns the walls of the chapel and sitting room.

The Sister's home cooked meals only use the vegetables and herbs which are grown in their gardens. A real treat when staying in Rome.

Breakfast is included in the price. Additional meals can be purchased from the dining room and it is recommended they are requested at the time of booking.

The lodging has a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the city. Other guest houses of the Sisters can be found throughout the country.

Getting Around

The historic center of Rome. City with easy access. Public transport to central and surrounding locations is nearby.

	It is very nice that there is a chapel which is accessible 24 hours and it is possible to participate in Mass with sisters at 7 a.m. It is also very convenient that the place is open 24 hours and you can come and go whenever you want.

	This is my second stay with at the Casa. It is a wonderfully safe and welcoming place. The breakfast is excellent and the property is well maintained. I highly recommend it.

	We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Casa. We found the breakfast more substantial than we expected as it included bread and cheese along with the fresh pastries and buns. We did enjoy our cappuccinos but there was also an Illy coffee shop just outside the entrance as another traveler mentioned We were just a little far to walk to the Vatican though very possible for for the energetic. The public transportation was very convenient, though one did need to be able to walk up and down the hill to the metro. The bus was just outside on the main street. There were also 2 churches to choose from for Sunday mass if one wanted something close by. The one note to keep in mind is that the Casa is located among other residences, once inside the guarded gate. Even though there are directional arrows to find the Casa, it would have been hard to find if we had arrived at night time. The sister spoke mostly Italian, but we were able to communicate in English and Spanish. We also found it very convenient that we could purchase bus/metro tickets right at the reception! We would highly recommend these accommodations to anyone visiting Rome for travel or pilgrimage.

	The Nuns were nothing but nice and helpful. The rooms were cozy and great value for the price. But, above all, it was so nice to have the chapel.

	My first experience staying in a monastery. I highly recommend this to everyone! Especially those traveling solo like myself. This location was a short walk to the train station for ease in reaching other cities in Italy. I was also able to walk to the Vatican and St Peter’s Square.

	A pleasant stay. A place to recommend. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Great working air conditioning. Sweet breakfasts, very good coffee Note the building is on a gated estate so it is difficult to find your way around. The entrance to the estate is practically at a junction next to a pedestrian crossing on one side and a bar on the other.

	Suor Clelia cheerfully welcomed me each time I came back to the convent and made me feel so welcome, even though she spoke no English. I felt safe and well cared for. The location, close to bus and metro, was terrific! The breakfast was not good (too sweet, no protein) but just by the entrance was a Illy for cappuchinos and that was wonderful.

	Enjoyed my stay at the Casa. It was quiet and my room was comfortable! The air conditioning was on and I could control the temperature! The only drawback was that it was situated on a big hill that I had to walk up from the Metro. Only one worker spoke English, but it was fun to try to use my Italian to communicate.
