Perfectly located, this fantastic lodging is a wonderful choice for those who want to stay close to the action and excitement of Sardegna.

There are five main churches scattered around the city, each well worth a look. As is the case with a lot of cities on the island, there are many "nuraghi" located around the island, the historic beehive-like structures which are typical of Sardinian culture. Quartu Sant'Elena is around 70km away from "Su Nuraxi di Barumini", a world heritage listed site of a collection of nuraghi, some three-storey creations dating back to 1,500BC. The town is also known for producing some fine wines, which are a must when visiting the area.

There are extensive gardens surrounding the monastery, which are ideal for walks and relaxation. From the upstairs terrace of the lodging, there are spectacular views across the "Golfo degli Angeli" (Gulf of Angels) to the Poetto beach and over to the top of the "Seven Brothers" mountains.

Located just outside of the main city of Quartu Sant'Elena near the water, this monastery is well situated in a popular part of Sardegna. Located in Quartu Sant'Elena, one of the island's largest towns, it is four miles from the nearby coastal town of Cagliari (hence the name "Quartu"). There are public transport links nearby to ensure you can easily access the sites in the area from your doorstep.
