House of the Sermig - Fraternità della Speranza
A regal yet religious guest house, this hill top venue provides guests with a wonderful experience.The fourth largest city in Italy, Turin, boasts endless tourist attractions and a rich history. The symbol of the city is the Mole Antonelliana, named after architect Alessandro Antonelli. Its construction began in 1863 and it is believed to be the tallest museum in the world standing at 167m.
The Palatine Towers date back to ancient Roman times and served as one of four Roman city gates but remain among the best preserved in northern Italy. Other sights worth visiting include the Royal Palace of Turin and the Castle of Valentino. Also not to be missed are the stunning views over Turin from the Basilica di Superga.

Located next to such an ancient cathedral gives guests a chance to enjoy Italian architecture and style. Superb surrounding views of Turin's city center and periphery are also magnificent.
Guided tours of the Superga Cathedral, the Grande Torino Museum and the Savoy family tombs are available and bookings can be arranged with reception.

Airport History
Trying to escape the French-Spanish invasion of Turin in 1706, Duke Vittorio Amedeo II, led his troops to higher ground at Superga. While there, the Duke made a promise that if he won the battle, he would commission a grand cathedral in Superga in honor of the Virgin Mary.After a long battle, the Duke and his soldier's won and Turin was liberated. In 1717 the first stone was laid where this venue now sits and its inauguration came in 1731.

Roberto was a delightful host. This place is very special and we were horned to be able to stay there. It is not for everyone, but it was certainly ideal for us. The rooms were huge and quiet and the views were amazing. The garden was beautiful and the goats where charming. |
