This monastery is operated by the Ente Chiesa Rettorile di San Tommaso Apostolo.

Central to the Diocesi di Milano, and the Chiesa Rettorile di San Tommaso Apostolo this house is a mix of the old and new surrounded by the heart of cosmopolitan Milan.

Mass is held every day at 8:00am & 6:00pm, 10:30am on Sunday.

Breakfast is included in the price. There are many dining options within walking distance of the venue.

This guest house was founded in 1961 as a house of prayer for the Diocesi of Milan.

	It was in a very handy location and the Sisters were very attentive. The main issue related to the temperature which was around 36C∘. I was advised not to leave the windows open over night because of the mosquitoes and although there was a fan provided it was very noisy and not very efficient. However I would not hesitate to stay here again at a different time of the year.

	Everything was great except the fact that the room was too hot. A fan was provided but it was not enough. We could not leave the window open as mosquitoes were coming in. It would be much better if they install a ceiling fan and a screen on the window.

	Seeing the operation of the place, I had a hunch that it was new to the tourist industry. This was confirmed by the one of the sisters. There was hardly anyone around and the breakfast (thankfully provided), did not compare well with other monasteries I have stayed at.

	Overall these accommodations were very nice and the location was excellent for exploring Milan. The only down side is that the breakfast was very meager.

	The nuns were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were excellent. Location fantastic! Also very quiet. The only negative were the mosquitoes as there were no screens in the windows. We would stay again just not during hot weather when you would want a window open. That is why we downgraded the sleep quality and rooms.

	One evening, we needed more toilet paper and couldn't find a sister to ask for some. This made us wonder what we would have done if one of us had fallen ill during the night - who would help us? There was no public phone available to the guests. Aside our concern about what would happen if an emergency arose, we were very happy and would recommend to our friends.

	It was my first stay at any sort of monastery, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but had a very positive experience. The location, which was the reason I chose to stay here, was truly wonderful, right in the center of Milan with easy access to trains to the airport and Lake Como. The room was huge, very clean and quiet. In particular, the shower was excellent. The sisters were very welcoming. The cappuccino, which was part of the breakfast included, was sublime. On arrival, the gate was locked and it was not clear how to contact someone inside. A neighbor was able to help, although this was a little unsettling as an introduction. This could be easily corrected with some more detailed instructions in the materials e-mailed in advance. I would have preferred a payment option other than cash. Particularly for a solo traveler interested in clean, safe, conveniently-located accommodations, this was a wonderful choice.
