Features

There are rooms facing a breathtaking panorama of the Gulf of Naples. The guest house, considered a national monument, offering guests the possibility to see some of Naples oldest art works.

Getting Around

Just west of the city centre, this convent is well positioned to explore the city. The monastery is located in 'i Quartieri Spagnoli', a famous area full of history. There are public transport links nearby for access to all parts of the city.  

History

The guest house was founded in 1618 by the Agostiniani. Recently renovated it still maintains many of its original features.

	Great place to stay, great view of the coastline. Be aware it has a very steep set of stairs to walk up. The taxi price from the train station was 12.50 Euros. The monastery receptionist will call ahead to schedule your taxi when you leave. Again, great antique oil painting and new modern photography line the wall of the hallways at this monastery.

	I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Tolentino. Reception were welcoming, my room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom modern. It was such a delight to wake to sunrise over the Bay of Naples, the view from my room. Breakfast was generous and served in a beautiful spacious dining hall. The gardens provide a place to relax. The accommodation was close to the funicular where reception gave us directions allowing us to explore much of Naples on foot. I would recommend Casa Tolentino to those visiting the city.
