This convent is operated by the Associazione Volontari del Servizio Sociale Cristiano.

Welcoming, homely guest spaces, comfortably furnished rooms and very clean facilities.

Whether it be lunch or dinner locals and tourists alike get together to enjoy a home cooked meal in the Sisters dining room in the heart of the city - don't miss it!

Breakfast is included in the price. Lunch and dinner available, book with the Sisters.

Getting Around

Historic center of Rome, near Piazza Navona, Spanish Steps and the river Tiber. City with easy access. Well positioned for walking to the main attractions and many bus stops for local and surrounding locations.

The guest house was built around an old church of the 13th Century, Santa Lucia della Tinta.

	Fraterna Domus is a wonderful place to stay. Brilliant location in the Centro Storico. Comfortable simple rooms with en suite facilities. Friendly, welcoming Sisters and amazing value delicious food which is really worth partaking of. Very highly recommended!

	I had a lovely single room but 48 stairs to reach it up by bell tower. This is a great place if you have good knees. The dinner for 15E was terrific and best pasta ever!! The two nuns and especially the french speaking one were outstanding, would love to have them here in Canada!! Close to Vatican, shopping, and other sites. Quiet and very affordable for area.

	Our stay at the Fraterna Domus was good. Their location is near Castel Sant'Angelo and near to Vatican City (15-20 mins walk). Food was good and rooms very clean. The sisters were very friendly.

	Room was very small with two single beds, we had to move our suit cases every time we turned around. The towels they supplied were tiny and old and thin.

	Very friendly reception. The staff were very helpful and took extra time to talk to our children. Clean rooms. Great dinners! Our bedroom was on ground level and the bathroom had a very old, musty, bad smell.n(I think it is part of being a very old building) However, my parents' room was perfect (on the upper level).

	The staff was very helpful and pleaseant, going above and beyond what was required. We enjoyed our stay. The hot water was always plentyful in the shower. Since it was November the heating was a little inadequate. They turned the heating off during the day and one had to wait until 5 PM to get some warmth in the room. We compensated with warm sweaters.
